This is an original block print by Takeji Asano
In Japanese：浅野竹ニ
Title：Lake Shoji
In Japanese：精進湖
Year of first printing：1949

The mountain visible in the background is Mount Fuji, making this a lovely print that captures the atmosphere of that time.

This print is a UNSO-DO edition, and this particular work has not been reprinted for a long time.
Based on the above facts and the paper quality, we have determined this to be an original edition from 1951.
While there are various opinions regarding the definition of an “original” Shin Hanga, this work is considered an original according to our standards.
