​Mr. Will Deller: Deller was a popular music hall vocalist and whistler known for his comedic timing and clear diction, both of which are on full display here.
​The Songs: "When Father Papered the Parlour" is one of the most famous comic songs of the Edwardian era, famously associated with Billy Williams. It tells the chaotic story of a DIY project gone wrong. "Two Dirty Little Hands" is a sentimental "parlour" ballad typical of the period.
​The Label: Globophon was a German-based label that produced high-quality recordings for the international market. Being "Reproduced in Hanover" places this in the historical heart of early record pressing, as Hanover was home to the original Emil Berliner factories.
​Condition
VG (Very Good). The shellac shows some light surface scuffs and minor scratches consistent with its age, but it maintains a decent luster.
​Labels: The green and gold labels are well-preserved. The ornate scrollwork remains crisp and legible.
