Now here's something you don't see everyday! This very rare souvenir from ANACONDA, MONTANA dates back to the 1940s/early 1950s and is an old-style gummed label, gummed on the front and was meant to go on the inside of a car window. Most of the gum appears to be still intact!
A terrific piece of vintage memorabilia, it features a neat graphic of the "World's Largest Copper Producing Smelter & Smokestack" now preserved as a piece of American history, and even more interesting, bears the symbol for the Typographical Anaconda Union Label 1 - lots of vintage Americana in one beautifully designed package!
This rare find is in excellent condition for its age with minor edgewear and corner bending, a few small creases, and a fold on the lower left corner and upper right edge, and light foxing along the edges. It measures approximately 2 1/4" wide by 4 1/2" tall.
Unique and unusual, it is sure to be the talking point of any serious collection.
