Your basket may arrive slightly compressed from its journey from Ghana. This is a natural characteristic of the fibers and is easily fixed:

Lightly spritz the basket with water.

Gently reshape by hand while the grass is damp.

Air dry completely, and it will return to its original, rigid, and sturdy form.
