The Slik Clamp Head N Series is an accessory that attaches to tripod pipes allowing you to set your camera at a lower position than the tripod itself for shooting. Compared to previous models the spring in the camera mounting screw section has been eliminated and brass parts have been used to create a more secure fixing structure. Even with tripods that cannot be set to a low position such as the Grand Master III the clamp head makes it possible to set the camera at a low position. The clamp part of the Clamp Head is the type that clamps onto the pipe and is secured by turning the tightening knob. *Caution: Do not overtighten as this may cause the pipe to dent and render the tripod unusable. Also do not use it on carbon pipes as this may cause the pipe to crack and break. The camera mounting section is equipped with a 2-way pan/tilt head that allows for vertical and rotational movement. By loosening the camera head tightening knob it is possible to tilt it downwards by more than 90°. It can also rotate 360° along the mounting axis. Lateral movement can be adjusted by the mounting position of the clamp and the mounting direction of the camera screw so you can point the camera and lens in any direction. The camera mounting is a double-nut type. The camera mounting screw employs a double nut type structure where the camera screw screwed into the bottom of the camera is further pulled towards the camera mount. The Lower 2N Clamp Head 32N is a compact type that can be attached to pipes with a diameter of 22mm to 32mm.
