[PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS]
- Pioneer PD-T07 CD player.
- This model was the first to adopt a unique CD turntable system, further developing the idea of vibration-free and resonance-free discs cultivated in the development of disc stabilizers.

[FEATURES]
- The CD turntable system places the pickup and spindle motor on top of the disc to hold the disc fully from below.
- This mechanism minimizes unnecessary vibrations due to the large inertia unique to the CD turntable mechanism, even if the rotation state changes due to external vibrations, sound pressure, or warped discs. This improves jitter in the read signal due to vibration and surface wobbling by approximately 15%.
- Employs a clean laser pickup developed in-house. Reducing the number of optical components, such as collimator lenses, reduces power loss in the optical system and reduces aberrations in the optical path, enabling the reading of clean, low-distortion pit signals.
- Equipped with a silent linear motor servo mechanism with excellent responsiveness and low vibration generation for pickup drive.
- The spindle motor is equipped with a large brushless hall motor with a starting torque of 65g/cm to rotate the CD turntable with a large moment of inertia, and combined with a φ4.5mm extra-thick shaft, it is resistant to load fluctuations and provides stable drive capability even when the rotation speed changes from the inner to the outer circumference.
- The D/A converter uses an 8fs digital filter and a left-right independent bitstream 1-bit DAC. The New bitstream 1-bit DAC has only one electronic switch and one current source, and expresses the analog quantity by turning on/off that one electronic switch. This eliminates problems such as resistor errors and timing deviations like multi-bit DACs, so it has excellent linearity and, in principle, does not generate non-linear distortion or zero-cross distortion.
- A laminated mechanical base is used to protect the optical mechanism from external vibrations. This is made by layering two steel plates and molding them with special resin, and further copper plating is applied to improve vibration damping characteristics and suppress the generation of magnetic distortion. In addition, this mechanical base is mounted on the mechanical chassis via a coaxial suspension that coaxializes special rubber and springs, and similarly, the lower turntable base is also mounted via coaxial suspension, and the floating structure isolates external vibrations from the chassis.
- Direct construction is adopted, and each circuit block is laid out simply and straight along the signal flow to minimize the signal path. In addition, the digital/servo and audio boards are separated to prevent mutual interference, and shielded PCBs (double-sided boards) are used for the digital and analog systems to obtain a shielding effect that is advantageous for preventing noise from the digital system from jumping to the analog system. Furthermore, the analog circuit board also connects the input to the output terminal in the shortest distance and has a symmetrical configuration.
- An A-class operation FET buffer amplifier is used in the audio circuit after D/A conversion, which reduces the influence of the load on the connected amplifier by reducing the output impedance. Furthermore, A-class operation reduces fluctuations in power consumption during operation, suppresses the influence on other circuits, and realizes low distortion.
- The power transformer uses a twin power transformer that is independent for digital/servo circuits and analog circuits. Furthermore, the audio circuit transformer uses bifilar winding to increase the balance of output impedance and inductance, so that the + and - power supplies are supplied under the same conditions, contributing to improved sound quality. In addition, the + and - 4 parts of servo/digital, servo drive, and audio are independently rectified to eliminate mutual interference. In particular, the audio power supply uses a discrete push-pull power supply to achieve a power supply with low output impedance and resistance to load fluctuations. In addition, independent power supplies are used for the DAC on the left and right, and the servo drive power supply is separated independently for the turntable and other drives, and each is stabilized to eliminate the influence of motor and actuator operation.
- The chassis uses a newly developed multi-layer honeycomb chassis. In addition to the large honeycomb insulator that absorbs external vibrations, a fifth insulator is installed in the center of the chassis to balance vibration damping and weight, and reliably support the center mechanism.
- The power cord uses a 4-core cord with core wires separated from the power plug for servo and analog systems. Furthermore, the material is OFC (high-purity oxygen-free copper).

[CONDITION]
- Used. There are some scratches and scuffs associated with use. Overall, it is in relatively clean condition.
- The tray opening/closing operation is smooth, and playback functions normally without any problems. Skip playback also works without any problems.

[MAINTENANCE]
- The belt driving the opening and closing of the tray has been replaced with a new one.
- Sewing machine oil is applied to the tray rail and the rail that moves the pickup.
- The pickup lens has been cleaned with an electronic cleaner.
- Each contact point, such as RCA terminals and power plugs, has been cleaned with a contact revival agent.
- The interior and exterior have been cleaned.

[ACCESSORIES]
- No remote control or instruction manual included.
