These buttons are new old old stock.  They've been handed down through 3 generations and now at age 72, with no other sewer to hand them down to, I realize I will never use them.  I hope you will!  I can see them on a sweater, jacket or coat.  I estimate them to be from the 1940s.  I started taking photos through the plastic bag that I received them in, but decided to remove the plastic a bit so that you could get a better idea of the sheen and depth of color on these buttons.
