The enclosed newspaper article from the Washington Post found in the book has written along the top edge, “11/ 25/ 74 – day of autographs.” John Ehrlichman and H.R. "Bob" Haldeman attended court proceedings throughout the Watergate trial and they were in court 11/ 25/ 74. They were most likely approached for their autographs at the court house that day and they signed the book while on the run. The previous owner wrote a yellow sticky note saying he had a law professor mentioned in the book. This is a one-of-a-kind book signed by two Watergate figures signing a book whose authors are the reason they are on trial.

Note: H.R. Haldeman (Harry Robbins Haldeman), the White House Chief of Staff for Richard Nixon, was known by both names but primarily went by “Bob.” While his legal first name was Harry, he was commonly referred to as Bob Haldeman in both his professional and personal life.
