Vintage Lotus Cut Glass Open Salt Cellar -Pedestal Silver-Plated Base.

A Beautiful Piece of Table History with

"Authentic" Character!

Up for sale is a lovely antique pedestal open salt cellar featuring an intricate scalloped

"lotus" petal glass bowl set upon an ornate metal pedestal base. This piece perfectly captures the elegance of 19th-century fine dining and would make a wonderful addition to a salt dip collection or a unique vanity dish for rings. This piece is As Is due to the Metal Base: The underside of the base is in "rough" condition with significant surface wear and tarnish, consistent with a century of use. It has a small divot on the rim of the base as well (see photos). Adding a piece of felt to the bottom would spruce it up perfectly! The crystal top is in great condition, no chips or cracks.

** I’m assuming this is silver plate with the patina wear, however I couldn’t get a magnet to stick to it so who knows!
