Product Description
Minwax Wipe-On Polyurethane is a high-quality, durable oil-based polyurethane finish that provides protection with a classic, hand-rubbed look. The hard, clear polyurethane wood finish protects wood against water, household chemicals, food stains, and wear.
To prepare for application, make sure your surface is dry and free of paint, wax, grease, polish, old finishes, or any foreign matter. Sand to obtain a smooth uniform surface. Shaky poly well. To apply, add a liberal amount of wipe-on poly to a clean, soft cloth and rub the poly into the wood. Let dry for 2-3 hours, then lightly sand with a fine 220 grit sandpaper to ensure an even finish and proper adhesion. Apply additional coats as desired. After the final coat, allow 24 hours to dry before light use. One pint covers up to 62 feet. Clean up with mineral spirits.
