Vintage AHM Rivarossi HO scale Santa Fe heavyweight Pullman sleeper named "St. Louis" — a 1920s-style heavyweight in Pullman green with gold "PULLMAN" lettering along the letterboard and "ST. LOUIS" name plate centered on the side. Made in Italy by Rivarossi for AHM. The Santa Fe ran heavyweight Pullman service across the Southwest for decades, and this car represents that classic era of named-car passenger railroading.
The Rivarossi heavyweights are some of the best-proportioned HO passenger cars made — clerestory roof, six-wheel trucks, and the underbody detail that makes these read as real cars and not generic plastic. The dark green finish photographs well.
Condition: Car is clean and shows little use, very good appearance. Original AHM blue and yellow box shows shelf wear and some discoloration along the edges but graphics are legible and the cellophane window is intact. End label shows the car through the box window. Both car and box present together.
