I am offering up for sale my very rare and collectable Seiko 7016-5001 "Monaco" automatic chronograph from the 1970s, powered by the sought-after 7016A flyback movement. The watch seems to keep time well. The quickset day (Spanish/English) and date functions work properly as well as turn over at midnight. The chronograph functions and resets properly. I included a video showing resetting the chronograph after letting it run for over 30 minutes. The flyback function works. The crystal was replaced with a NOS Seiko crystal and I will include the original as well. The 30 minute subdial hand was replaced with an aftermarket hand. Everything else is original to my knowledge. The watch comes on an aftermarket brown leather strap. The case has normal scratches you would expect from a 50 year old watch. Please refer to the pictures for condition and let me know if you have any other questions. It seems to run and keep time well but I would recommend having the watch checked by a professional to guarantee accuracy. Sold as-is – please review all photos carefully. A fantastic opportunity for any Seiko collector or vintage chronograph enthusiast to acquire a rare square flyback model.
