OVERVIEW

The Kumho Ecsta Sport PS72 is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional gas-powered vehicles.

The ideal tread design ensures surface contact while the tires are in motion. Steering responsiveness and driving stability are increased in this manner. This is ensured with the asymmetric tread design’s road contact. It upgrades steering responses and accuracy to the driver’s commands, but it also secures structural stability. The shoulder block pattern firmly grips the road with extra biting edges, improving its cornering power. On the other hand, the tread design’s friction generated during braking significantly shortens the stopping distance.

Exceptional summer traction is promoted with this tire model. The durable summer compound and the ideal tread design enhance dry and wet, summer-weather grip. The strong compound elements improve the heat resistance by easing the pressure off the tire during its performance. Additionally, the optimal road-to-rubber ratio enhances the grip on the road. The wide, circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning, by dispersing water from the footprint in wet-weather conditions.

The Kumho Ecsta Sport PS72 ensures a safe high speed performance. The heat-resistant compound elements work together with the reinforced internal structure to boost its performance. Stronger compound elements prevent heat build-up across the tread area, while the structure does not deform under high speed pressure. As a result, the tire can safely perform during its high speed applications.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
