OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 is an all terrain, all weather tire manufactured for crossover vehicles, SUV and passenger vehicles. Yokohama offers a 50,000 mile warranty with light truck sizes and a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with crossover and SUV sizes of this tire model.

The tire has excellent all weather traction thanks to the combination of the triple 3D siping detail of the tread pattern and the Enduro tire compound. The 3D sipes are special as they change shape with the tread wear, maintaining the exceptional traction and road grip. The tire is marked with the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol for its superb performance in winter conditions. The EgdeTec grooves increase the snow and ice traction, while the circumferential grooves help resist hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. This makes the tire safer to use year-round.

The model is also an all terrain type. It is able to handle all uneven, soft or loose road surfaces, thanks to the EdgeTec tread grooves and the Enduro tire compound. The tire compound provides great road grip on extreme road conditions and improves the tire's cut and puncture resistance off road, which enhances the all terrain traction. The tread grooves offer an enlarged void area to disperse dirt and mud stuck between the tread grooves. The model performs just as well on road as it does off road, which makes it perfect for drivers looking for versatility in their tires.

The longer lasting tread life is the result of the Enduro compound and the siping tread detail. The compound slows down the tread wear rate of the tire, while the 3D sipes prevent irregular wear by distributing the driving pressure across the tread area. This forces the tread to wear out evenly, which, along with the slower wear rate, makes the tire usable for a longer period of time. The tire is very cost efficient thanks to this and to its internal structure, which makes it puncture and cut resistant. The sidewall protectors and the full nylon internal structure help resist such accidental damages, which allows the tire to be used for a longer time.

Some of the sizes of the Geolandar A/T G015 made for light truck vehicles, are reinforced to be able to withstand and carry heavier weights. This Endurocore construction enhances load range E tires by optimizing the casing to provide heavy load durability for the vehicles. This features can only be found in tires meant for light truck vehicles and not for SUVs.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
