The Cosmo El Jefe HT2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks. Cosmo offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

This model utilizes its stabilized footprint to maintain a consistent road contact and lower road disturbances before they reach the vehicle's cabin. Airwaves are channeled throughout the footprint, preventing them from coming into contact with tread elements and forming tread noise. The tread is able to absorb vibrations, significantly lowering road disturbances felt in the cabin. In this manner, the tire guarantees a noise- and vibration-free performance throughout the year.

The tire offers a phenomenal tread life by using its durable compound materials and robust tread. The compound materials slow down the treadwear rate, while also providing a high damage resistance. It avoids cuts, tread chipping, and cracking while performing in off-road conditions. The self-cleaning tread eliminates rocks from the footprint, preventing them from harming the tire's tread and casing. On the other hand, the durable materials and ideal tread work together to resist irregular and premature wear, guaranteeing a longer lasting tread life.

The Cosmo El Jefe HT2 is able to perform well in all weather conditions by utilizing its durable compound and five-rib tread pattern. These tread elements provide a high number of biting edges and boost the traction on dry, wet, and snowy roads. The compound optimizes rubber flexibility in various temperature conditions. The circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, preventing them from coming in between the tread and road surface. It prevents the vehicle from hydroplaning in rainy and snowy weather conditions.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
