Pla-Pay Phone 1940s Tin This is in fantastic condition. Tin toy telephone manufactured by the Gong Mfg. Co., known for its bell and movable receiver hook. The phone features a rotary dial and coin slots for 5, 10, and 25 cents, mimicking a real payphone. It also includes instructions for use: "1. REMOVE RECEIVER 2. DEPOSIT COIN 3. DIAL NUMBER COIN RETURNS". These toy phones were popular in the 1940s.
The phone is more or less unused and in mint condition. The original box graphics are excellent and the box is in nice condition despite a torn top.
