The IWC Pilot's Watch Automatic Spitfire, released in 2019, is a pilot's watch that faithfully inherits the design of the Mark 11 navigation watch manufactured for the British Royal Air Force in the 1940s.
The 39mm diameter case houses the in-house developed Caliber 32110 with a 72-hour power reserve and bidirectional pawl winding mechanism.
The escape wheel and lever of the Caliber 32000 series utilize silicon parts for superior wear resistance and durability.
Furthermore, it features a magnetic-resistant soft iron inner case, a feature not found in some previous Spitfire models, ensuring safe use even in strong magnetic fields.
