This item is an antique vintage right-handed 35" wood shaft Sabbath or Sunday stick. A small sized golf club made as a cane. Golf was banned on Sundays back then, so the story is they made canes with golf club heads so that someone could walk the course without clubs and perhaps hit a ball or two with their cane. These don't look like they would hold up if someone were to hit a full shot with it so I would not suggest trying it. They area an unusual golf and walking stick collectible. This one is made in the shape of a driver with horn or bone leading edge. Unmarked on the crown. Contrasting dark wood shaft with intact bronze metal tip end. It is in good vintage condition with the expected minor nicks and dings. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is straight and crack free. Will display nicely.  

Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
