When Marvel brought the Silver Surfer back in 1987, it marked the start of one of the character’s most important modern runs.

This is Silver Surfer Vol. 3 #1 (1987) — the relaunch that brought the Surfer back into the Marvel Universe after years of limited appearances.

Written by Steve Englehart with art by Marshall Rogers, this issue sets the stage for the cosmic storytelling that would eventually lead into the Infinity-era material collectors know so well today.

This copy is CGC 9.2, a clean, sharp example that presents beautifully. While not a major key, it’s an important foundation issue for the modern Surfer run and a great pickup for anyone building out the series.
