The grades we assign to the cards we sell DO NOT factor in the centering of the card. They are meant only to describe the condition of the card itself - the corners, edges and the condition of the surface and the original sheen. Each collector can decide how the centering will determine what he is willing to pay for a card.
MINT - perfect corners, edges and a bright. original surface. No creases.
NR-MINT - Just enough wear on some of the corners to not make mint. No creases.
EX - The corners are square but some light wear is obvious, but has a bright clear surface. No creases.
VG - Very Good means not very good. Rounded corners and maybe some surface wear. The "description from the seller" will describe any creases, or say "No creases"
Poor - A badly damaged card. Authentic, but in very bad condition. Most of the problems are visible in the scans, but will be detailed in the Full Description. These cards have led a hard life.
Cards that fall in-between two categories will be labeled as such. We'll try to answer any questions potential bidders want to ask clearly and honestly.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our scans always go past the edges of the card, which means if the card appears to have sharp corners, it HAS sharp corners. If it has flawed corners, our scan reveals that as well. Any number of other scans are cropped to make worn corners appear sharp. Our scans are usually taken with the card in a penny sleeve, which doesn't obscure the details of the card but often shows up as some lines just past the edge of the card.
