Culling my collection- sweet little piece. When I picked her up her inner pouch was coated in copper oxide and I have since cleaned it out as carefully as possible - I considered relining but I have other pieces that are in worse condition and decided to leave this one as is (zoom in for flaking, the inside is still very soft). The brown or British tan frame was heavily scratched on the edges as it should have been from a well loved piece. I have since re-dyed the frame to match the patina-ed Dooney duck logo:). I cleaned the outer pouch with distilled water before listing and chose to condition with Lexol - you shouldn’t have to with AWL pieces (and don’t with my others) but since I had re-dyed the frame (not* the body) I thought I’d give her a little buff out too - note*** after all of these years, cleaning only with distilled water and prior to the Lexol treatment, there was color transfer. Zoom in to see the wear on the edges. This is navy and brown, photos can be deceptive. I am not a professional restorer- I purely enjoy Dooney bags, history and projects.

* • If the item is returned after 30 days from the date of delivery.

* Returned items that violate any of the above return policies will not qualify for a refund and will be in the buyer’s responsibility to pay for the item to be returned, should the buyer want the item back.
