The Goodyear ElectricDrive 2 is a performance and high performance, all season tire designed for passenger cars and SUVs. The model also comes with touring sizes. Goodyear offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model. This model is EV-Specific, meaning these tires are purpose-built tires engineered exclusively for electric vehicles.

The model provides great all season traction. The tire's grip on dry, wet, and light winter roads is boosted with better traction. The wide grooves prevent hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. The tread design is able to grip the driving surface firmly, while the all season compound maintains rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. These elements improve the year-round traction.

The tire ensures a safe high speed performance. The reinforced internal structure enables the tire to keep its ideal shape under high speed pressure. Since the tire does not deform during its high speed performance, it offers a secure driving experience. This makes the tire perfect for high speed applications. The Goodyear ElectricDrive 2 are low rolling-resistance tires that provide better fuel economy. This is achieved as the tire manages to lower its rolling resistance with its aerodynamic design. This is the pressure determining the vehicle's necessary fuel usage in order to maintain motion. By lessening the rolling resistance the tire helps to decrease fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, leading to a fuel-conscious performance. The carbon emissions are further reduced since sustainable materials are used like soybean oil.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
