The compressor supplies the entire system with the compressed air needed to inflate the airbags and support the weight of the vehicle. Without the compressor, the entire airbag system would be without air and the vehicle would be left with a non-functioning suspension. If there is a problem with the compressor, the following symptoms will usually appear to alert the driver to a potential problem that should be serviced.
