2.The newly replaced fuel pump shall not be subjected to dry test.As the oil pump motor is sealed in the pump housing, the heat generated by electrical energy cannot be distributed.Once the armature overheats, the motor burns out, so the fuel pump must be immersed in the fuel.

Installation Guide

- Before installation, ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the fuel system is depressurized.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical shorts.
- Remove the fuel tank according to the vehicle's service manual instructions.
- Replace the old fuel pump assembly with the new one, ensuring all connections are secure and the gasket or seal is properly seated.
- Reinstall the fuel tank and reconnect the fuel lines, electrical connectors, and negative battery terminal.
- Start the vehicle to check for proper operation and any fuel leaks.

- Fits 1994 Ford Mustang with all engine types, 1996-1997 Ford Mustang V8 4.6L, and 1995 Ford Mustang V8 5L.
