The "Hermes Lighter" by Jean Feurer is a wonderful piece of engineering.
This vintage lighter was made by the highly luxurious brand Hermès in the late 1940s. The original patent from 1947 was applied by Jean Feurer in Geneva and highlights the unusual design of the roller. It was designed to be accessible on the whole perimeter of the cylindrical lighter's body.
The flint stone replacement is pretty clever and practical. Just roll it counter-clockwise to open the internal flint chamber.
It's a highly luxurious lighter and will be appreciated in any collection.
Its approximate dimensions are 2 ⅝”H x ¾”D.
The lighter has been drained of fuel for shipping. Upon arrival, please fill it with fuel and enjoy it lighting up.
Shipping is free, it'll be insured to match final auction value and there is NO RESRVE!
