Vintage Swedish axe head, likely made by one of the well known Swedish axe manufacturers such as Hults Bruk, Gransfors Bruk, Sater Banko or Wetterlings.

The axe has the classic Scandinavian forest axe profile used for forestry and general wood cutting. Even though no visible maker’s stamp remains, the shape and forging style strongly resemble traditional Swedish production.

The head shows authentic age, forging marks and patina from long time use and storage. It has been lightly cleaned but remains unrestored and sold as found, preserving its original character.

A great piece for collectors of Scandinavian axes or anyone restoring vintage forestry tools.

Many older Swedish axes have lost their stamps over time due to sharpening and wear, but the design clearly follows the well known Swedish axe tradition.
