This is a very limited drop of large tote bags made from vintage Belgian deadstock linen in a natural linen color (taupe / warm grey), recently sourced. It?s a durable fabric with a natural texture, structured but still soft enough for real everyday use. Each piece is finished with handmade linen lace from my collection.
Just good materials and careful work, brought together to create something solid and lasting. I don?t follow trends, I work with the beauty of the materials I have in my hands, creating pieces that are high-quality, timeless, and made to improve with use.
Each bag is fully lined in 100% cotton and includes two inner pockets, along with both short and long straps, making it practical and easy to carry every day.
There are only limited pieces available from this Belgian linen.

Please note that all our laces and linens are sold as found, unwashed and unused, they have been stored for many years so if any cleaning or ironing is needed, it will be left to the buyer. Before use, gently hand wash or soak in soft soap, rinsed and towel dried (no wringing!!) and let to air dry. The ancient folk wisdom says that it is better to spread the fabrics on a meadow and let the dew and the moon naturally whiten the fabric.
The color shades go from white to ecru and cream, and because the handmade lace was made by different women and threads, on some occasions the color of each roll from the same type differs slightly. They have been stored for many decades (almost a century), so it is possible that some of them may show dust or a light patina; this is precisely what gives them their unique, endearing charm. I try my best to show and describe any exceptional wear or damage.
