# Rare Vintage Omega Chronometre – Cal. 30T2 RG – Sector Dial – 1940s
Offered for sale is a beautiful and rare **Omega “Chronometre” wristwatch from the 1940s**, powered by the highly respected **Omega Caliber 30T2 RG chronometer movement**.
This watch originally came to me as a **movement together with its original Omega dial and hands**. In order to complete the watch, I later sourced an **authentic vintage Omega stainless steel case from the same era**, allowing the movement to be assembled again as a complete and wearable timepiece.
While the case is **not the original case paired with this movement when it left the factory**, it is an **original Omega case from the same period**, reference **2750-1**, making it a correct and sympathetic period assembly.

The dial is particularly attractive and collectible, featuring a classic **sector dial design with Roman numerals, applied dot hour markers and a small seconds subdial**. The warm **salmon / copper tone dial**, together with the elegant **leaf-style hands** and **blued steel small seconds hand**, gives the watch a very refined vintage appearance typical of the 1940s.
A **new acrylic crystal has been installed**, and the movement has been **serviced and adjusted**. The watch runs very well and keeps good time.
The **Omega 30T2 chronometer series** belongs to the legendary Omega 30mm movement family introduced in the late 1930s. Chronometer versions such as the **30T2 RG** were carefully regulated for superior precision and produced in relatively small numbers. These movements are highly respected among collectors for their accuracy, durability and historical importance.
