OVERVIEW

The Kenda Vezda UHP A/S is a high performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Kenda offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire features high levels of silica in its compound which, along with the asymmetric tread's dual pattern, enhances the all weather traction. Due to this combination, the model is capable of performing well in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread design firmly grips the road surface, while the compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures. The tread design also features four circumferential grooves that improve the hydroplaning resistance. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint and guarantee a safer wet weather road gripping ability.

The dual tread design also increases the model's controllability. The dry weather tread area features a low void ratio which enhances the road contact. The better road contact, in turn, boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it during the drive, while the steering becomes quick and precise in its response to the driver's commands. The outer shoulder tread blocks also manage to improve the cornering capability. They increase the number of biting edges in such situations and ensure a more secure maneuvering capability. The better controllability and exceptional maneuvering allows the tire to perform to its highest capability.

The Vezda UHP A/S guarantees a longer tread life and excellent driving safety. The tire's sidewalls are manufactured to protect the rims. They guard the rims and prevent accidental curb damage from ruining the rims. The tread design's asymmetric pattern manages to lengthen the tread life. It evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking effectively prevent irregular tread wear formations on the tire's surface. The result is an extended tread life and tire usability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
