The Citizen NY0040-17L is a highly regarded, affordable 42mm automatic diver's watch from the Promaster series. It features a 200m water-resistant stainless steel case, a distinctive 8 o'clock screw-down crown, and runs on the reliable and proven Miyota 8203 automatic movement with hand-winding, and a 40 hour power reserve. Beautiful sunburst blue dial words can’t fully describe!

This is an ORIGINAL release NY0040-17L. Discontinued in 2018. You can tell by the triangular lume pip at 12 o’clock and the 8203 movement. The newer re-releases have the 8204 movement, the corner of the triangle notched out and the numbers on the bezel are different.

NOS (New Old Stock). Brand new BNIB condition with outer box and Aqualand scuba tank. Never worn or used. Caseback still has sticker on it. Perfectly aligned bezel and chapter ring and dial. Purchased new by me in 2018 from an A.D. in Germany. Date wheel has English and German days which can be set to either English or German. Stored in an airtight/ humidity controlled box.
