Description

The DLS RC3 is a compact 3-inch coaxial speaker from the renowned DLS Reference Series, designed for listeners who want detailed and natural sound reproduction even in smaller speaker locations. Despite its compact size, the RC3 delivers impressive clarity and balance, making it an excellent upgrade for factory systems that use small dashboard or rear speakers.

The woofer uses a coated wood fibre cone, a material chosen for its ability to reproduce midrange frequencies with warmth and accuracy while maintaining good structural rigidity. This allows vocals and instruments to sound natural and well defined without unwanted colouration.

High frequencies are handled by a 0.5-inch soft silk dome tweeter, integrated into the coaxial design to provide smooth and controlled treble. The tweeter produces clear high-frequency detail without sounding harsh, helping create a balanced and comfortable listening experience.

To further improve performance, the RC3 incorporates a copper shorting cap, which helps stabilise inductance and reduce distortion.
