Description: From a very scarse series of bird prints. This early lithographic print originates from: 'Naturgeschichte in Bildern mit erlauterdem Text von Dr. Fried. Strack.', published by Arnz & Co., Dusseldorf 1819-1826. Check our store for other species.
Artists and Engravers: Friedrich Strack (1781-1852) was a German educator and professor in Bremen, later in Dusseldorf. The lithographer and colourer of these plates is not known to us.

Condition: Fine. General age related toning and light thumb staining from handling. Moderate foxing and offsetting. Please study scan carefully.
