High quality plastic hard spiles (sealing pegs) for cask conditioned real ale.

Hard spiles are used to seal the shive once cask conditioning is complete. After the soft spile has allowed excess CO2 to vent, the hard spile is inserted to maintain perfect carbonation and keep the beer in top condition until serving.

Can also be loosened during service to allow airflow, then re-inserted at the end of the night to preserve condition until the next day.
