TECHNICS SL-1200/1210 TURNTABLE RCA SOCKET AND POWER CONNECTOR MOUNT SET You have to provide your own rca jacks Screwing the nuts on the back of the panel sockets can be a little tricky, but it is possible with some patience. A reasonable level of soldering and electrical competence is required. Testing with a multi-meter is recommended before you screw it all back together. With a cartridge on the tone-arm, you should see a resistance of ~600 ohms between the RCA centre and outer. You should also verify that the ground socket is connected with the chassis of the turntable (try continuity testing with an exposed screw or the tone-arm itself). I recommend soldering coloured wires to the RCA and ground sockets like this: RCA right centre: red RCA right outer: green RCA left centre: white RCA left centre: blue Ground: black That way, you can simply match up the colours with those coming from the tone arm.
