The HONMA BERES 08 Driver represents a new evolution of the BERES series, combining refined Japanese craftsmanship with advanced distance technology. Designed as a trusted “partner” for golfers seeking both elegance and performance, the driver delivers powerful ball speed with remarkable stability.

The sole features HONMA’s unique Triple Slot structure, which divides the slot into center, toe, and heel sections to maximize rebound performance at each impact point. This design increases ball speed on center strikes while improving gear effect on off-center hits, helping return the ball flight toward the target line.

An L-Cup face construction expands the high-rebound area across a wide portion of the face, especially enhancing rebound performance in the lower face area. This improves forgiveness on mishits and maintains stable distance performance.

The newly designed radial face further enlarges the rebound area by optimizing the internal rib structure of the face. Working together with the L-Cup face, this design achieves the highest level of rebound performance in the BERES series.

A thin and variable thickness crown works in conjunction with the triple slot sole to create efficient head flex. By reducing crown weight and redistributing mass toward the sole, the center of gravity is lowered to produce higher launch and increased ball speed.

The club is equipped with the ARM RQ MX shaft, which incorporates a newly developed high-compression 10-axis woven sheet. This design enhances shaft recovery and counterbalance performance, helping golfers generate higher swing speed with improved directional stability.
