(included in the listing when bought) with David Kline. JFK wrote a letter to David Kline forwarding to him the original correspondence from a USN Commander regarding an inquiry. Both letters are framed and the first letter is signed by JFK himself on the bottom. The listing includes all that is in the pictures, which means both of the letters in the correspondence.
The frame is very old and it has been unopened for a long time: a couple of the tabs that kept the frame closed popped off when the listing was made to show the letter inside because they were rusted: this shows that this frame has been kept as is for a long time. The JFK letter is dated January 8, 1957, and the forwarded letter is dated the 3rd of January of the same year.
