This is a genuine vintage pair of Oliver Peoples OP505 glasses purchased in the 1990s. Please note, this is not a reissue or reproduction. The glasses feature the engraved markings "505 LBR AG" on the frame, indicating the model and material details. The frame color is light brown with antique gold accents, offering a classic and sophisticated look.
The original lenses were designed as sunglasses, but currently, the glasses are fitted with non-corrective lenses, with a support glass inserted at the bottom. The included lenses are the original sunglasses lenses, which show some scratches (see photos). The frame shows minor signs of wear, including small scratches and some blackening on the temples, consistent with age and use.
