Attention
1. Ensure that the diameter of the centre bore of the wheel spacers is greater than the axle diameter.
2. Check the thread size, which customers often ignore when placing an order.
Tip: Install the supplied lug nuts or bolts on the hub by hand only (do not install the wheel at this time). If you feel resistance during the process, it might be the wrong thread size for your vehicle, in which case please contact the tyre seller or manufacturer for further advice.
3. Installation Notice:
a. Clean the studs thoroughly and remove any excessive dirt, oil, grease etc.
b. Thread the supplied lug nuts onto the axle studs, ensuring the tapered end faces towards the spacers.
c. Install the nuts by hand ONLY and tighten them in a crisscross pattern.
d. Do NOT use automatic screwdrivers when installing wheel spacers.
e. It is possible that your existing lug nut studs can be longer than the adapter itself, you may need to alter your existing studs if the adapters do not sit flush with the wheels. If the studs are longer than the adapter, and the wheels do not have a hollow spot in them, you may need to grind, or cut your existing lugs if you choose not to purchase shorter studs. Otherwise, the adapter bolt can't work as normal and will greatly shorten the bolt's working life and bring danger to you.
4. Maintenance Tip:
Please check all the lug nuts and bolts on the adapters after the first 50–100 miles. They may become loose after long-term use. Make sure you recheck them every 3,000–5,000 miles and tighten them if necessary.
- How to Choose Wheel Spacers Thickness?
The wheel gap is the distance between the inner fender lip and the outer edge of your tyres or rims. For example, if the gap is 12 mm, you can add wheel spacers of up to 12 mm without causing any rubbing.
1. Use the measuring device to measure from the outer of the tire to the inner fender lip, take the minimum gap after repeated measurements.
2. To avoid touching and causing friction, the thickness of the spacers should be less than the fender gap (The maximum thickness of spacer =the distance to wheel arch-Fender width -Safety margin 2mm) is recommended.
