Vintage Swedish axe head in solid forged steel.

This axe head appears to be an older Scandinavian pattern. It has a classic Swedish profile with a narrow poll and a gently flared cutting edge. No visible maker stamp remains, which is common on older Swedish axes where the stamp has worn away over time.

Axes of this style were commonly produced by well known Swedish makers such as Gransfors Bruk, Hults Bruk, Wetterlings or Sater Banko during the 20th century.

The axe shows honest age and patina and is sold exactly as found. A great candidate for restoration, rehanging, or for use as a compact forest or camp axe.

Very nice proportions for a smaller working axe.

Condition:

Used vintage condition with surface patina and wear from age and storage. No visible cracks.
