Description - Rare Edwardian solid silver travelling inkwell of cylindrical form with a spring hinged lid a push button clasp and the top has the engraved initials "LEL",

the brass interior has a locking mechanism for the inner lid which houses the original removable glass well.

Fully hallmarked with anchor for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, date letter "e" for the year 1904 and the maker's mark "WHS" which is William Henry Sparrow

Condition - In very good condition, there are just a couple of minor dints to the silver,

lid hinge is strong and springs open how it should,

the interior brass and glass is undamaged with the lid locking securely.
