Note: Republic of China year one was 1912, so the 26th year is 1937.
This bond we believe was from the Kolbuke family in 1937. The family had fled Russia during the 1917 revolution making their way to China. During the Japanese invasion in 1937, and before any of the coupons could be redeemed, the family had to again flee, this time to the Philippines, then to Australia, and finally to the United States. This bond is being sold by the Kolbuke Family Trust.
