Beautiful early Victorian writing slope “John Unsworth 1845”
The polished finis and grain are excellent and are complimented with brass corners and side protectors. The writing slope retains its original finish to the bottom. The slope opens on heavy brass strap hinges with a brass lock (no key). There is a lidded pen tray with spaces for ink well and stamps etc, the box includes hidden storage from the top section and the bottom. Around 180 years old!
