The opening shop scene in the theatrical cut disappears here replaced by an extended truck drive through woods followed by conversation about the map after Bert claims he forgot something at the store. One scene with pancakes was entirely unscripted; the actor playing the hermit practiced Tae Kwon Do between takes and Roth inserted it on the spot. Roth himself appears as Justin the lost hiker.

We watched the special features and were delighted to see the 'Family Friendly version' and also a hilarious animated skit by Eli Roth as well. Really well done!
