Important Sizing Information for Raw / Selvedge buyers

Please read before purchasing:

Selvedge Jeans never fit according to the size printed on the tag or back patch. Over the years, denim shrinks, stretches, and softens, so the original tagged size is no longer reliable.

Because of this, I do not use the tag size in the listing title.

Instead, I list the actual, current measurements so you know exactly how the jeans fit today.

I measure every pair carefully, laying flat, using the following method:

• Waist: measured straight across the waistband, then doubled
• Inseam: measured from crotch seam to bottom hem
• Thigh & leg opening: included when relevant

Please rely on the provided measurements—not the tag size—before purchasing.

The best way to learn which measurements are best for you, is to take a pair of jeans that fit you the way you like them, and measure the waist, inseam, thigh and leg opening. Compare these measurements to the measurements in the title of this listing.
