This is a Judean Prutah coin from the era of 103-76 BC, composed from bronze. It has been certified by NGC and is categorized as an ancient coin. This bronze prutah of Alexander Janeaus, king of Judaea was minted ca. 100 BCE. The term "widow’s mite" mentioned in the Gospels of Mark and Luke refers to Jesus’ parable regarding a poor widow who gave "two mites…all she had."

The Widow’s Mite coin holds historical significance and would be a great addition to all collections.

The coin received would vary slightly from the coin pictured due to each ancient coin being individually struck and each coin having its own unique wear pattern throughout the years. The NGC serial number received would vary.
