A lovely pair of English porcelain cabinet plates made by the George Jones and sons manufacturing company circa 1920.
Each plate has a large central cartouche, hand painted with a bouquet of flowers on a white background, the border is painted in a rich navy blue with bands of gilded swirls separating the three other cartouches.
In excellent condition with no chips, cracks nor restoration each plate measures 26.5cm in diameter. One plate is signed by the artist W. Birbeck.
