A staggered vehicle fitment or application means that the wheels mounted on the front and rear axles of the vehicle are different sizes. In such cases, the rear axle usually requires wider or larger tires, while the front axle takes narrower or smaller sizes to optimize the tire's performing ability.

OVERVIEW

The Montreal Eco-2 is a performance and high performance, all season tire created for passenger cars and SUVs. This model has some touring and highway terrain, light truck sizes available.

The tire features an all season rubber compound mix with additional silica and polymer. These materials enhance its adaptivity, helping it maintain its flexibility throughout the year. It provides the same high performance in various temperatures, be it in wet, winter, or dry weather conditions. This model is an ideal choice for all season use, as it prevents heat build-up even during the hot summer temperatures. The detailed tread design provides a high number of biting edges with the lateral sipes and notches. Together with the grooves, they take care of hydroplaning prevention, channeling water and slush away from the footprint.

This model maintains its maneuverability at high speed thanks to its tread pattern. Its asymmetric tread features a careful siping to improve stability and controllability. The five-rib tread design sits securely on the road surface with its flat footprint throughout the performance. This way, the tire's driving stability and steering responsiveness are significantly enhanced. The model boasts a strong structure and a wide tread, allowing the load and driving pressure to be evenly distributed. This prevents pressure buildup, which enables the tire to maximize its high speed performing power.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
