Rare gold dinar of Murad III from the Ottoman Empire, struck in 1586/1587. Minted at Tilimsan, this large 33.2mm coin weighs 4.24g and displays elegant Ottoman Arabic calligraphy typical of late 16th-century Islamic coinage. Good VF with minor weakness at the margins, it is a highly collectible example of Ottoman gold from the reign of Murad III.
