Imperial German World War I Aero Bavarian Aviator Pilot Badge. 

Measures 1 3/4" wide by 2 3/4" tall. The front shows an airplane flying over some buildings and small mountains in the center. They are all surrounded by an oval oak leaf wreath with a pierced Bavarian King’s crown at the top. Has a thin vertical pin back with a ‘c’ catch. One piece die struck stamped silver-plated nickel construction. Nicely toned.
