CDV of Photo 

"Le Mauvais Pas" (The Bad Step)

An original carte de visite. 

Possibly done in the early 1899 1900s. (These were in a huge Civil War collection of CDV's).

No maker stamp is on the back. 

This CDV looks like it was removed from a scrapbook - note the remnant of yellow paper and some back of image paper loss. 

The front has typed information on the bottom front.  

In used condition, showing trimmed or bumped corners, lots of dirt on edges, edge wear, may have clipped corners, scuffing, staining, may or may not have inked / penciled notations, dirt in places, may have some paper loss on the back from being in an album, smudging on the photo, or tears.
